Ecuador’s native animals represented in artistic hand made and painted ceramic pieces.
Once modeled by the artist, the piece proceeds to paint job with engobe inks. Later on, its cooked for the first time at 1200 degrees Celsius, to allow the paint to stick to the natural clay. The next part of the process consists on coating the pice with a thin layer of glass just before it goes back in the oven at 800 degrees Celsius. To finally be gold plated and cooked for the last time at 600 degrees Celsius
