Because the majority of our collection consists of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces or limited artisan editions, we have designed a policy that ensures your investment is protected from the moment it leaves our studio in Quito until it reaches your hands.

30-Day Evaluation Period

We want you to be captivated by your purchase. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to inspect your piece. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original, pristine condition: unworn, unused, with all original artisan tags attached, and in its premium packaging.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin a return, please contact our concierge team at support@ecuadorshops.com.

  • Once your request is reviewed, we will provide you with a Return Authorization and specific instructions.

  • Please note that items sent back without prior authorization cannot be accepted.

  • Shipping Responsibility: As we ship directly from the source in Ecuador to offer competitive artisan pricing, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client, unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.

Damages & Peace of Mind (Our Guarantee)

We understand that shipping delicate art and fine textiles across the globe requires trust. Every order is internationally insured and hand-wrapped with museum-grade protection.

  • Immediate Protection: If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of reception.

  • Our Resolution: In the rare event of transit damage, Ecuador Shops assumes full responsibility. We will coordinate an immediate replacement (if available) or a 100% full refund, including shipping costs. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Refunds & Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned piece at our warehouse, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Approved Refunds: Will be issued immediately to your original payment method.

  • Bank Processing: Please allow 5-10 business days for your financial institution to reflect the credit on your statement.
